Mesut Ozil is looking forward to Arsenal v Liverpool on Monday night
Mesut Ozil took to social media on Sunday to reveal his excitement ahead of Arsenal’s clash with Liverpool at Emirates Stadium on Monday night.
The Gunners are set to take on the Merseyside outfit in north London as they look to secure their second win of the Premier League season following their 2-1 triumph at Crystal Palace last Sunday.
Ozil put in a man of the match performance as Arsene Wenger’s men claimed victory over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park last weekend, playing 83 minutes of the game.
And the German World Cup winner is clearly looking forward to lining up for the Gunners against Brendan Rodgers’ men at Emirates Stadium on Monday night.
Ozil posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote: “Monday Night Football is awaiting us!!! 😊🔥🔥🔥 #BPL #Headliner #BeTheDifference #YaGunnersYa #COYG #Arsenal #WeAreReady #Emirates #MySecondLivingRoom”
Ozil, who joined Arsenal from Real Madrid back in the summer of 2013, scored four goals in 22 Premier League games last season after missing three months of the campaign with a knee injury.
