And the long-distance athlete took to social media to give his followers a glimpse of his training session, bravely wearing the Arsenal colours after their defeat.

The 32-year-old issued a rally cry for the Gunners during their disappointing 2-0 reversal against London rivals West Ham on Sunday afternoon.

Arsenal make the trip to Crystal Palace in their next Premier League game at Selhurst Park on Sunday.
