Alexis Sanchez is already thinking about winning more trophies with Arsenal this season
Alexis Sanchez took to social media on Sunday to celebrate Arsenal’s Community Shield win over Chelsea as Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s first-half goal handed the north London side a 1-0 victory at Wembley.
The England international fired home an impressive shot into the top corner in the 24th minute at Wembley as the defending Premier League champions struggled to break down Arsene Wenger’s men in north London.
Oxlade-Chamberlain’s goal proved to be the winner as the Gunners secured the first piece of silverware on offer during the 2015-16 season.
And Sanchez was absent from the team after being given an extended summer break following his involvement in the Copa America, was quick to salute his team-mates’ achievement, before declaring his desire to win more trophies with the Gunners.
Sanchez shared the picture above on his Instagram account and wrote: “Yes yes … Team 🏆👏 I want more successful!!!”
