Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech was put through his paces as the Gunners trained ahead of the Community Shield

Petr Cech maintained his focus during Arsenal’s final training session ahead of their clash against Chelsea in the Community Shield on Sunday.

The Czech Republic international could face the Premier League champions for the first time since he completed a £11m move to Arsenal from Chelsea last month.

Cech is set to compete with Colombian shot stopper David Opsina and youngster Emiliano Martinez after he opted to start a new chapter in his career.

The 33-year-old won four Premier League titles, the Champions League, four FA Cups, three League Cups and the Europa League.

Crucially, Cech has also won the Community Shield in 2005 and 2009, and the Czech goalkeeper will be desperate to secure his third winner’s medal against his former side.

Arsenal’s club-record signing Mesut Ozil looked relaxed as he trained with his team-mates ahead of the season’s curtain raiser at Wembley.

Wenger has failed to beat Mourinho’s Chelsea side in 13 attempts.
