Piers Morgan laments Arsenal’s lack of transfer activity
Piers Morgan wants to see Arsenal step up their game in the transfer market
Piers Morgan has once again taken to social media to reveal his frustration at Arsenal’s lack of transfer activity this summer.
The Gunners have so far only brought in Petr Cech from Chelsea as Arsene Wenger added an extra defensive option to his squad.
Arsenal have been linked with a host of other players in recent weeks as Wenger aims to guide his side to their first Premier League title since 2004.
Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema and Paris Saint-Germain forward Edinson Cavani have been touted as possible targets for the north London side in recent days.
And Arsenal shareholder and celebrity fan Morgan is clearly disappointed with the Gunners’ lack of activity on the transfer front as Tuesday’s 18:00 BST deadline approaches.
Morgan tweeted:
No Premier League team has signed fewer players than Arsenal so far this window.
And we wonder why we always start badly? #afc

Arsenal are in Premier League action against Newcastle United at St James’ Park on Saturday afternoon as they look to notch up their second win of the season.
The Gunners will face Bayern Munich, Olympiacos and Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League group stage after the draw was made on Thursday.
