Piers Morgan launches fresh attack on Arsene Wenger after Arsenal win

Piers Morgan has once again called for Arsene Wenger to bolster his Arsenal squad before Tuesday's transfer deadline

Piers Morgan took to social media to demand that Arsene Wenger be sacked should the Frenchman fail to further bolster his Arsenal squad before transfer deadline day.

The celebrity Arsenal fan has never been shy about making his views on the Gunners heard on social media, and Saturday was no exception as he vented his frustration in the wake of their 1-0 win against 10-man Newcastle.

Much has been made of Arsenal’s failure to bring in more reinforcements this summer, with Wenger so far having just signed goalkeeper Petr Cech from Chelsea.

The north London side continue to be linked with a host of players as next Tuesday’s transfer deadline approaches.

And Morgan demanded that Wenger move to sign reinforcements before the window closes, or face the sack from Arsenal.

He tweeted:

The Arsenal shareholder was also left unimpressed by Arsenal’s performance against Newcastle, despite the Gunners having notched up their second away win of the season.
