Piers Morgan slams Arsenal’s lack of summer transfer activity
Arsenal fan Piers Morgan is unhappy the Gunners have only signed Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech this summer
Piers Morgan has once again taken to social media to voice his displeasure at Arsenal’s summer transfer activity – or lack of it.
The 50-year-old outspoken journalist and Arsenal fan is not one to shy away from controversy, and has stirred up yet more debate with a comment on Arsene Wenger’s recruitment this summer.
The Emirates club have been linked with hundreds of players since the close of last season, but haven’t seen any first-team signings since former Chelsea man Petr Cech made a £10m switch earlier this summer.
£200 million in the bank and so far in this transfer window, Wenger's bought Chelsea's reserve 'keeper. This is why we keep coming 3rd/4th.

Morgan has been known to put his foot in it in the past, with the author of eight books branding midfielder Aaron Ramsey a “complete and utter liability” before the Welshman embarked on a blistering run of form much to the amusement of Morgan’s army of critics.
A long-time Arsenal fan, Morgan tweets regular criticisms of the FA Cup holders, including his disappointment at Arsene Wenger’s longevity as manager.
