Piers Morgan slams Arsene Wenger after Arsenal’s draw with Liverpool

Piers Morgan did not need an invitation to voice his concerns about Arsenal's slow start to the season

Piers Morgan took to social media to voice his discontent at Arsenal’s slow start to the season after Monday night’s goalless draw with Liverpool.

The Gunners were held to a stalemate by the Merseyside outfit at Emirates Stadium as the north London side failed to break down the Merseyside outfit at their home ground.

The result left Arsenal ninth in the table and means that the Gunners have now failed to score in their opening two home Premier League games.

With a week left of the summer transfer window, Arsenal shareholder and celebrity fan Morgan used his personal Twitter account to urge Wenger to spend some money on a world-class striker after the Gunners’ stuttering start to the new campaign.

Arsenal travel to Newcastle United in their next Premier League game on Saturday afternoon as they look to return to winning ways in the top flight.

The Gunners find themselves ninth in the table after their opening three games of the season.
