Piers Morgan tells Arsenal fans to dream of Karim Benzema transfer

Piers Morgan has once again had his say on Arsenal's summer transfer business

Piers Morgan has once again underlined his desire to see Arsenal sign Karim Benzema this summer as the Gunners look to win their first Premier League title since 2004.

The north London side have been heavily linked with a big-money bid for the France international as Arsene Wenger looks to bolster his attacking options at Emirates Stadium.

Celebrity Arsenal fan Morgan has made no secret of his desire to see Arsenal attempt to lure the 27-year-old striker to Emirates Stadium ahead of the 2015-16 campaign.

And Morgan feels that Arsenal’s recent signing of Petr Cech from Chelsea underlines the fact that the Gunners are capable of pulling off a deal to land Benzema.

Former Daily Mirror editor Morgan tweeted:

He also named his starting 11 should Benzema arrive at the club:

Arsenal, who finished third and won the FA Cup last season, kick off their Premier League campaign with a home clash against West Ham United next weekend.
