Piers Morgan tries - and fails - to convince John Terry to leave Chelsea and sign for Arsenal this summer

Piers Morgan has taken to social media to reveal that he tried to talk John Terry into joining Arsenal from Chelsea on Tuesday night.

The former England captain has suffered a disappointing start to the new season after being substituted at half-time during the 3-0 loss to Manchester City, before being sent off against West Bromwich Albion last weekend.

Celebrity fan Arsenal shareholder Morgan posted on Twitter:

Morgan also went on reveal that his views of the former England skipper were changed after meeting him in person this week.
