Sturridge, Clyne and more: Liverpool stars react to Arsenal stalemate
Daniel Sturridge and Nathaniel Clyne takes to Twitter after a goalless draw between Arsenal and Liverpool on Monday night
Nathaniel Clyne was pleased with a point and a clean sheet after Liverpool held Arsenal to goalless draw at Emirates Stadium on Monday night.
The Reds didn’t concede a goal for their third successive Premier League game, although Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey had the ball in the net only to be denied by the offside flag.
Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech denied £32.5m summer signing Christian Benteke and Philippe Coutinho in north London.
And Clyne, who moved to Liverpool from Southampton in a £12.5m deal this summer, is disappointed the visitors couldn’t find a winner:
Good solid performance from the team & another clean sheet just couldn't find the goal. Our fans were great again 👊🏼 pic.twitter.com/qQcZnvyrwI
