Sturridge, Clyne and more: Liverpool stars react to Arsenal stalemate

Daniel Sturridge and Nathaniel Clyne takes to Twitter after a goalless draw between Arsenal and Liverpool on Monday night

Nathaniel Clyne was pleased with a point and a clean sheet after Liverpool held Arsenal to goalless draw at Emirates Stadium on Monday night.

The Reds didn’t concede a goal for their third successive Premier League game, although Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey had the ball in the net only to be denied by the offside flag.

Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech denied £32.5m summer signing Christian Benteke and Philippe Coutinho in north London.

Injured Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson praises his team-mates for their resilient performance:

England striker Daniel Sturridge, who is nearing a return to first-team action, keeps his tweet short and sweet:

Finally, Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mingolet is delighted with a third successive clean sheet to start the Premier League season:
