Tottenham transfers: Cameroon forward confirms Spurs switch
Clinton Njie is on the verge of joining Tottenham Hotspur from Lyon
Clinton Njie has confirmed that he is set to become a Tottenham Hotspur player by bidding farewell to Lyon via a post on social media.
The north London side have been heavily linked with a bid to sign the striker from the French outfit in recent days as Mauricio Pochettino looks to bolster his attacking options at White Hart Lane.
Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas confirmed that a deal was close earlier this week, and now the player himself has all but confirmed that his transfer to White Hart Lane is set to go through.
Njie, 21, posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote: “I want to thank all the staff at Lyon, the president and all the fans and my team-mates at OL.
“And I also thank you for your messages of support.
“New chapter now. #Tottenham #Spurs.”
