Tottenham transfers: Christian Eriksen’s agent hints at Spurs exit
Christian Eriksen's agent fails to rule out a move away from Tottenham Hotspur in the future
Christian Eriksen’s Tottenham Hotspur future has been cast in doubt after his agent hinted the midfielder could leave White Hart Lane in the future.
The Denmark scored Tottenham’s opener in a 2-2 draw with West Bromwich Albion at White Hart Lane in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
Eriksen, who moved to Spurs despite interest from Liverpool and Manchester City, has emerged as a reported target for Juventus in recent weeks.
While the Spurs midfielder’s agent underlined Eriksen’s continued commitment to the north London side, Martin Schoots refused to rule out a future move.
“I never speak about specific clubs but we know that very bid clubs were after Christian since he was 14 years old,” Schoots is quoted as saying by Metro.
“Christian is now happy to be at Spurs but you never know what happens tomorrow.”
The 23-year-old has scored 17 goals in 63 Premier League appearances for the north London outfit since his move in 2013.
Eriksen, who has scored 22 goals in all competitions for the Lilywhites, was named the club’s player of the year in 2014.
