Watch Arsenal duo attempt ‘dizzy penalties’ in training
Mikel Arteta and Theo Walcott took some 'dizzy penalties' in Arsenal training on Wednesday
Mikel Arteta, Theo Walcott and club mascot Gunnersaurus took part in the Dizzy Goals Challenge at the Arsenal training ground on Wednesday morning.
The wet weather at London Colney made it hard enough for the players to keep their footing, but after spinning around before their spot-kicks, it was near impossible for them to convert their penalties.
Midfielder Arteta just about managed to find the target before Walcott has his go at finding the net – and the England international’s effort left a lot to be desired.
Arsenal teamed up with the club foundation’s global charity partner Save the Children to support the Dizzy Goals Challenge.

The challenge aims to raise awareness of The Global Goals – a series of ambitious targets to end extreme poverty, fight inequality and tackle climate change to be agreed by 193 world leaders at the UN on 25 September.
Arsenal, who drew 0-0 with Liverpool at The Emirates on Monday night, take on Newcastle in the Premier League next weekend.
