Watch Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho get excited about Anfield clash
Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho can't wait to kick-start their Premier League campaign at Anfield
Philippe Coutinho says he can’t wait to return to action at Anfield ahead of Liverpool’s clash against Bournemouth on Monday night.
The Reds open their home campaign with a game against the newly-promoted side after Liverpool edged to a 1-0 win against Stoke City at Britannia Stadium last weekend.
The Brazil international, who was named the club’s player of the year last season, scored a brilliant long-range strike to seal three points against the Potters.
And unsurprisingly, Coutinho can’t wait to slip on his boots and line up against Bournemouth in the Premier League weekend’s final fixture.
Coutinho wrote on the photo-sharing app: “Tomorrow we’ll finally play in Anfield again. I was already missing this atmosphere! Come on Liverpool!”
The 23-year-old, who moved to Anfield from Inter Milan in 2013, scored five times in 35 Premier League games last season.
