Azpilicueta, Cahill and more: Twitter reacts as Chelsea thrash Maccabi Tel-Aviv
Cesar Azpilicueta and Gary Cahill both take to Twitter after Chelsea beat Maccabi Tel-Aviv 4-0 at Stamford Bridge
Chelsea eased to a comfortable 4-0 victory in their Champions League opener against Maccabi Tel Aviv at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night.
Eden Hazard got the Blues off to a nervous start when he missed an early penalty, before Willian eased the concerns of Blues fans with a superb free-kick to break the deadlock.
Oscar added a second from the spot on the stroke of half-time, with Diego Costa and Cesc Fabregas wrapping up the west London side’s first opening Champions League group-stage win since 2012.
The victory prompted plenty of activity on Twitter – and here are some of our favourite update following Chelsea’s impressive victory.
