David De Gea and more: Man United stars react on Twitter to Luke Shaw’s injury
David De Gea and Ander Herrera send their best wishes to crocked Man United defender
David De Gea was among the first Manchester United players to wish Luke Shaw a speedy recovery after the full-back’s shock injury in a 2-1 defeat by PSV Eindhoven.
The England international suffered a double leg fracture after the defender was tackled by PSV star Hector Moreno in the first half at Philips Stadion.
Shaw, who will have an operation upon his return to Manchester, required 10 minutes of treatment on the pitch before the United youngster was replaced.
Here is the best of the Twitter reaction from his United team-mates following the 20-year-old’s forgettable night in Eindhoven.
Spain goalkeeper David De Gea says witnessing Shaw’s horror injury hurts more than their Champions League defeat:
Defeat hurts, but @LukeShaw23's injury hurts even more. We hope you come back even stronger!
