Eden Hazard not the same player for Chelsea, says Matt Le Tissier
Chelsea star Eden Hazard is lacking in confidence this season, says Matt Le Tissier
Eden Hazard does not look like the same player who lit up the Premier League with Chelsea last season, according to Matt Le Tissier.
The Belgian playmaker, who was named the PFA player of the year last term, has been in disappointing form for the west London club this season and has so far failed to find the net and only notched up one assist.

The 24-year-old’s poor run continued on Wednesday as he missed a first-half penalty during Chelsea’s 4-0 win over Maccabi Tel-Aviv in the Champions League at Stamford Bridge.
And Le Tissier feels that the attacker is short on confidence after a poor start to the new campaign for both himself and his club.
Le Tissier told Sky Sports: “This boy does not look like the same person that shone so brightly last season.
“He really is out of sorts. You could see that from the penalty. With his penalties he always looks at the goalkeepers anyway but this time he looks at the ‘keeper, looks down, then looks up again.
“As he’s going to take this penalty and I don’t know if he’s seen the goalkeeper move the way he’s going to hit the ball and panics slightly but he skies it miles over the crossbar.
“There’s a real lack of confidence in his play at the minute.”
Chelsea have only taken four points from their opening five Premier League games to leave them 11 points behind early leaders Manchester City.
Jose Mourinho’s men will look to return to winning ways in the top flight when they host Arsenal at Stamford Bridge on Saturday lunchtime.
