Former Man United defender Danny Higginbotham runs rule over David De Gea saga
Danny Higginbotham has claimed that David de Gea remaining at Manchester United will be a good thing for both club and player.
In the wake of the 24-year-old goalkeeper’s failed move to Real Madrid last night, Higginbotham has reassured United fans that De Gea will return from the international break with his head in the right place.
Former Southampton and Stoke defender Higginbotham believes de Gea, who has been United’s player of the year for the last two seasons, will fight for his place in Louis van Gaal’s starting eleven.
De Gea staying then. That's at least one bit of good news for MUFC regardless of what people might think.
