Tottenham striker Harry Kane takes to Twitter to congratulate Ryan Mason on Spurs's match-winner

Harry Kane heaped praise on Tottenham Hotspur match-winner Ryan Mason after a 1-0 victory over Sunderland at Stadium of Light on Sunday afternoon.

The England international scored an 81st-minute winner to secure north London side’s first Premier League win of the season in the North East.

Tottenham are back in action Thursday night as Mauricio Pochettino’s side face Ajerbazani side Qarabag FK in their Europa League group-stage opener at White Hart Lane.

Reigning PFA young player of the year Kane wasted no time in taking to Twitter to congratulate Mason and urge his team-mates to get ready for their European curtain-raiser.

Kane is still waiting for his first Premier League goal of the season after a five-game drought for the England international.
