Wayne Rooney equalled Sir Bobby Charlton’s record of 49 England goals after the Three Lions were 6-0 winners against San Marino on Saturday night.
The Manchester United captain matched Charlton’s feat in the 13th minute from the penalty spot before Christian Broll headed into his own net before half-time.
Theo Walcott’s brace and goals from Ross Barkley and Harry Kane sealed an emphatic win and England’s place in the European championship next year.
