Liverpool transfers: German expert runs rule over Leroy Sane reports
Jan Aage isn't surprised to see Liverpool linked with the Schalke star
Liverpool target Leroy Sane is a “great, young talent”, according to German expert Jan Aage Fjortoft.
The 19-year-old has scored three goals and has made one assist in six Bundesliga appearances for Schalke this season.
Sane made his debut for the German side in April 2014, and the Schalke youngster has scored six times in 21 league games.
And former Nottingham Forest midfielder Fjortoft isn’t surprised to see the Reds linked with the Germany Under-21 international.

The Reds have raided the Bundesliga on a number of occasions over the past couple of seasons.
Germany international Emre Can moved to Anfield in a £9.75m transfer from Bayer Leverkusen.
Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers signed Brazil international Roberto Firmino in a £29m deal from Hoffenheim in the summer transfer window.
Rodgers’s side make the trip to Goodison Park to face Everton in the first Merseyside derby of the season on Sunday afternoon.
