Louis van Gaal: Man United more balanced after transfer window
The Manchester United manager runs the rule over his new-look squad
Louis van Gaal says Manchester United have a more balanced squad since their summer overhaul.
The Red Devils signed Memphis Depay, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Morgan Schneiderlin, Matteo Darmian, Sergio Romero and Anthony Martial in the summer transfer window.
We shall improve every week

Van Gaal, meanwhile, ushered Netherlands international Robin van Persie, out-of-favour Javier Hernandez and Portuguese winger Nani out the Old Trafford exit door.
The 20-time English champions moved to the top of the Premier League table for the first time since May 2013 after a 3-0 win against Sunderland on Saturday.
And United manager Van Gaal declared that he is happy with his ever-improving Red Devils squad.
“You need luck, but the balance of the team is better than last season,” said the 64-year-old manager,” Van Gaal is quoted as saying by GOAL.com.
“Because of that we need to win our games.
“We shall improve every week, yes. I don’t see it every week, but see that we are better as a team and a selection.
“I rotate more now because I can. Last year in my opinion I didn’t have the balance.
“I have let 20 or 25 players go. So it’s a new team.”
Van Gaal’s men face Bundesliga side Wolfsburg in their next Champions League group-stage game at Old Trafford on Wednesday night.
United lost 2-1 to PSV Eindhoven in their opening group-stage game in the Netherlands earlier this month.
The Red Devils make the trip to Arsenal next Saturday in the Premier League.
