Man United transfers: Lyon starlet interested in Old Trafford move
Nabil Fekir hints that he would be keen on a "dream" move to join Manchester United
Nabil Fekir has fuelled speculation linking him with a potential transfer to Manchester United by revealing that he is a keen admirer of the Old Trafford club.
The Red Devils concluded their summer transfer dealings with the signing of French starlet Anthony Martial from Monaco on Tuesday as Louis van Gaal moved to bolster his attacking options at Old Trafford.
Fekir has earned a reputation as one of Europe’s top attacking midfielders after helping to fire Lyon to the French league title last season.
And the 22-year-old France international has admitted that he would relish the prospect of following in Martial’s footsteps and moving to the Premier League outfit, describing the Red Devils as a “dream” club.
Fekir told French outlet Europe1: “Why not play one day in Manchester? This is a club of dreams.”
Fekir also talked up United new-boy Martial and backed him to impress at his new club despite his hefty price-tag.
He continued: “Anthony is a very good player, I played with him at Lyon.
“Of course this is a very large sum. We know that clubs like that are able to put that kind of money for good players.”
United take on Liverpool in their next Premier League game on 12 September.
