Morgan, Carragher and more: Twitter reacts as Arsenal lose to Dinamo Zagreb

Piers Morgan and Jamie Carragher both tweet their thoughts as Arsenal lose 2-1 to Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League

Olivier Giroud was sent off in the first half as Arsenal were beaten 2-1 by Dinamo Zagreb in their Champions League group-stage opener on Wednesday night.

The north London side fell behind in the 24th minute after Josip Pivaric’s shot was saved but rebounded in off Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

French striker Giroud was then sent off for a second yellow card when he fouled Ivo Pinto, before Junior Fernandes headed in for Dinamo.

Substitute Theo Walcott superbly slotted home in the 79th minute to give Arsenal to set up a tense finale but the home side held on for the win.

The result inevitably prompted plenty of activity on Twitter – and here are some of our favourite updates.
