Morgan Schneiderlin: Man United boss Louis van Gaal is very strict
Morgan Schneiderlin admits that he has had to adapt to Louis van Gaal's "strict" approach at Manchester United
Morgan Schneiderlin has described Louis van Gaal as a “very strict” manager as the midfielder continues to get to grips with working under the Dutchman at Manchester United.
Van Gaal moved to sign the French midfielder from Southampton this summer as he bolstered his Red Devils squad ahead of his second season in charge at the club.
Schneiderlin has worked under the likes of Nigel Adkins, Nigel Pearson, Alan Pardew, Mauricio Pochettino and Ronald Koeman during his career.
However, he admits that he has never been subjected to a manager with a similar approach to Van Gaal before in his career.
Schneiderlin told Telefoot: “Van Gaal is a very strict coach. It’s a new management approach, one I haven’t experienced before.
“You have to adapt because a lot of things have changed.”
Manchester United moved to the top of the Premier League table on Saturday afternoon thanks to a 3-0 win over Sunderland at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils take on Wolfsburg in the Champions League in midweek, before travelling to Arsenal in their next Premier League game on Sunday afternoon.
