New Man United signing undecided on where to live

Matteo Darmian is still undecided about where he wants to live after his transfer to Manchester United

Matteo Darmian has revealed that he has not yet made up his mind where he wants to live following his summer transfer to Manchester United.

The Italian defender sealed a move to the Old Trafford club from Torino this summer as Louis van Gaal moved to bolster his defensive options ahead of his second season in charge.

However, the 25-year-old is currently still living in a hotel in Manchester as he ponders where he wants to move to, either in the city or just outside.

Darmian told United’s website: “I am deciding whether to get a house in the centre or outside of the city.”

Darmian has been a regular fixture in Van Gaal’s starting line-up since joining the club earlier this summer.

He will be hoping to feature when United take on Liverpool at Old Trafford on 12 September after the international break.

The Red Devils slumped to a 2-1 loss to Swansea City in their most recent Premier League outing to leave them in fifth place in the Premier League table.
