Photo: Alexis Sanchez gets philosophical after Arsenal hat-trick

Alexis Sanchez was in a thoughtful mood on Sunday afternoon...

Alexis Sanchez was clearly in a philosophical mood after helping to fire Arsenal to victory at Leicester City on Saturday.

The Chilean struck a superb hat-trick in a man-of-the-match performance against the Foxes to help Arsene Wenger’s men move up to fourth place in the Premier League table.

Sanchez had not found the net for the Gunners all season before Saturday’s goals.

And the 26-year-old was clearly thrilled to get off the mark, as he reflected on his achievement with a series of pictures along with a message on Instagram.

Sanchez shared the pictures above on the photo-sharing app and wrote: “We don’t pretend that things will change if we always keep doing the same. A crisis is the best blessing that can happen to people and countries because crisis brings progress. Creativity is born from anguish, it is in crisis that discoveries and great strategies are born. Without crisis there are no challenges, without challenges life is a routine, it is in crisis where the best of each person emerges. He who overcomes crisis, overcomes himself without being overcome.” ⚽️👍

Sanchez scored 25 goals in all competitions for Arsenal following his transfer to the club from Barcelona last summer.

Arsenal return to Premier League action when they host Manchester United at Emirates Stadium next Sunday afternoon.

Before that, the Gunners take on Olympiacos in the Champions League group stage at their home ground.
