The Man United star is all smiles with David De Gea, Ashley Young and Andres Pereira

Ander Herrera was all smiles as he snapped a dressing room selfie with David De Gea, Ashley Young and Andreas Pereira following their League Cup win.

Louis van Gaal’s side eased into the fourth round of the competition courtesy of a 3-0 win against Ipswich Town after goals from Wayne Rooney, Pereira and Anthony Martial.

De Gea retained his starting spot in the United line-up, while Herrera, Pereira and Young were drafted into the side after being omitted from Van Gaal’s XI for the 3-2 win at Southampton on Sunday.

And Herrera, who moved to United from Athletic Bilbao in a £29m deal last summer, took to Instagram to reflect on United’s League Cup win ahead of their clash against Sunderland at Old Trafford this weekend.

Herrera wrote on the photo-sharing app: “We carry on to the next round of the Capital One. Well done mates”

United are looking to win the League Cup for the fifth time.
