The Arsenal goalkeeper takes to Instagram ahead of Champions League clash
Petr Cech says he is ready for Arsenal’s crunch Champions League clash against Olympiakos at The Emirates on Tuesday night.
The Gunners are looking to bounce back from a surprise 2-1 defeat by Dinamo Zagreb in their Champions League group-stage opener earlier this month.
However, Arsenal warmed up for the visit of the Greek champions with an emphatic 5-2 victory over Leicester City at King Power Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday.
And Cech, who won the Champions League with Chelsea in Munich in 2012, took to Instagram ahead of their vital European tie in north London tomorrow night.
Cech wrote on the photo-sharing app: “All set for tomorrow’s game @adidasUK #X15 #Primeknit #BeTheDifference”
Arsenal and Olympiakos are in the same group for the fourth time in seven seasons, having also been drawn together in 2009/10, 2011/12 and 2012/13. Each of the six preceding games has been won by the home team.
In 2012/13, the Gunners won 3-1 in London. Gervinho gave the home side the lead just before the interval, with Kostas Mitroglou equalising in added time. Second-half goals from Lukas Podolski and Aaron Ramsey secured the points.
