Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin takes to Instagram to celebrate 500,000 followers

Hector Bellerin has taken to Instagram to thank Arsenal supporters after the defender reached 500,000 followers on Monday afternoon.

The Spain Under-21 international has enjoyed a whirlwind 2015 so far after he nailed down a regular starting spot at Emirates Stadium.

The 20-year-old was part of the north London side’s defence that racked up successive clean sheets on Saturday after a 1-0 win against Stoke City.

And Bellerin, who moved to Arsenal from Barcelona in 2011, paid a special tribute to Gunners supporters on his Instagram page this afternoon.

Bellerin wrote: “500,000 Instagram followers! Thank you to everyone for the support. We are just getting started!”

The Arsenal full-back has started four of Arsenal’s five Premier League games this season.

The Gunners youngster had scored two goals in 28 appearances in all competitions for the north London side before the start of the 2015/16 season.
