Ramires took to social media on Saturday evening to dedicate his goal against Newcastle United to his newborn son Bruno.

With Chelsea trailing 2-0 at St James’ Park, the Brazilian came off the bench to score a stunning long-range effort to bring the Blues back into the game.

Willian then netted directly from a free-kick to earn a 2-2 draw and a point for Jose Mourinho’s men from the clash.

And Ramires was quick to use his Instagram account to dedicate his goal to his son Bruno, who was born on Friday.

Ramires shared the pictures above on his personal Instagram account and wrote: “That goal was for you, my boy!!! Let’s keep on fighting until the end! Come on, Chelsea! #Bruno #CFC #Ramires”

Saturday’s draw left Chelsea down in 15th place in the Premier League table as their stuttering start to the season continues.

Mourinho’s men have only won two games so far this term and have taken just eight points from their opening seven top-flight games.

The Blues travel to FC Porto in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
