Daniel Sturridge tells Liverpool fans he is now on the road to full fitness

Daniel Sturridge took to social media to promise Liverpool fans that he will soon be back at his best after he made his first appearance of the season against Norwich City on Sunday.

The England international forward had not featured for Brendan Rodgers’ men since May after undergoing hip surgery during the summer months.

Sturridge played 63 minutes as Liverpool were held to a 1-1 draw by the Canaries at Anfield on Sunday afternoon in the Premier League.

And the forward used his Instagram account to reassure fans that he is fully focused on regaining his full fitness in the coming weeks and months.

Sturridge shared the picture above on his personal Instagram account on Sunday evening and wrote: “Nice to get a run out today. First game in 6 months. Trust mi when I say things will get better.. Don’t doubt it 👌🏾”
