The Manchester United goalkeeper thanks fans for their support at Old Trafford after 3-0 win

David De Gea has praised Manchester United for adding more points to their tally after a 3-0 win against Sunderland at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.

Memphis Depay broke the deadlock for the Red Devils on the stroke of half-time, before Wayne Rooney and Juan Mata added second-half goals for the hosts.

The 20-time English champions moved to the top of the Premier League table after previous leaders Manchester City lost 4-1 at Tottenham Hotspur.

The United goalkeeper took to Twitter to reflect on their comfortable victory over struggling Sunderland.

Louis van Gaal’s side have won their last three Premier League games after having beaten Liverpool, Southampton and Sunderland.

The Red Devils were also 4-0 winners against Ipswich Town in the League Cup third round mid-week.
