David De Gea is excited about his Champions League return with Manchester United on Tuesday
David De Gea has taken to social media to reveal that he “can’t wait” to return to Champions League action with Manchester United on Tuesday night.
The Red Devils take on PSV Eindhoven in Holland as they look to get their group-stage campaign off to a winning start.
De Gea helped United wrap up a fourth-place finish in the Premier League last season to ensure that Louis van Gaal’s men qualified for Europe’s elite club competition.
And the shot-stopper, who was reinstated into United’s starting line-up for the 3-1 win over Liverpool on Saturday, could not hide his delight as United prepared for Tuesday’s clash against PSV.
De Gea posted the picture above from Monday night’s training session on his personal Instagram account and wrote: “The @uefachampionsleague is here! Can’t wait! @manchesterunited #UCL”
Former PSV Eindhoven star Depay made 90 league appearances for the Dutch club, scoring 39 goals, after coming through their youth ranks, before joining United back in May.
