Eden Hazard took to social media to show off his latest pair of pink Nike boots as Chelsea prepare for Saturday lunchtime’s trip to Everton in the Premier League.

The Blues head to Merseyside looking to return to winning ways in the English top flight after they slumped to a surprise 2-1 loss to Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge in their most recent Premier League outing before the international break.

Jose Mourinho’s men have failed to consistently click into gear and have made a stuttering start to their Premier League title defence, taking just four points from their first four games to leave them eight points behind leaders Manchester City.

And Hazard appears to be hoping that his new eye-catching boots will help him to inspire Chelsea to victory at Goodison Park in Saturday’s early kick-off in the top flight.

Hazard shared the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote: “Almost time to pick up the pace in my #Mercurial #Vapor. @nikefootball #LightningStorm”

The 24-year-old was voted the PFA player of the year last season.
