Liverpool legends send message to Man United injury victim Luke Shaw
Robbie Fowler and Pepe Reina both had kind words for Luke Shaw after his horrific leg injury
Robbie Fowler and Pepe Reina cast their rivalry with Manchester United aside to wish Luke Shaw all the best after his horror double leg break on Tuesday night.
The United left-back had to be carried off on a stretcher following a double leg fracture after the 20-year-old defender PSV Eindhoven star Hector Moreno’s heavy challenge in their 2-1 loss at Philips Stadion.
Shaw received treatment on the pitch for 10 minutes before he was replaced, and United have confirmed that the full-back will undergo an operation in Manchester.
And former Liverpool goalkeeper Reina expressed his displeasure to see Shaw suffer a shock leg injury.
Always sad when someone gets injured that bad…all the best and speedy recovery to @LukeShaw23

And Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler wished the former Southampton defender a speedy rehabilitation from the horror injury.

Shaw moved to United from Southampton in a reported £27m fee in the summer of 2014.
The England defender played in all five of United’s Premier League games so far this season.
