The Liverpool defender cast rivalries aside following 1-1 draw in Bordeaux
Mamadou Sakho caught up with some of his old Paris Saint-Germain pals after Liverpool’s 1-1 draw with Bordeaux on Thursday night.
The France international was handed a rare Liverpool start for their opening Europa League game after Sakho was omitted from the Reds’s first five Premier League fixtures of the new season.
Sakho almost helped Liverpool secure their first clean sheet in two games but Adam Lallana’s second-half opener was cancelled out by Jussie Ferreira Vieira.
And the popular centre-half posed for a snaps with his former France Under-21 team-mates Henri Saivet and old Paris Saint-Germain colleague Clemont Chamtome.
Sakho wrote on his Instagram page: “#EuropaLeague #BordeauxLFC #ApresMatch #YNWA #LFC #Liverpool”
The 25-year-old signed a new contract with Liverpool at the start of the 2015/16 season to secure his long-term future at Anfield.
Sakho has found his first-team opportunities limited this season after falling behind Dejan Lovren and Martin Skrtel.
The Liverpool defender moved to Anfield from PSG in a £16m deal in 2013.
