Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo takes to Twitter ahead of their bitter clash against Liverpool on Saturday
Marcos Rojo appears to be eagerly anticipating Manchester United’s clash against Liverpool at Old Trafford on Saturday evening.
The Argentina international is still waiting to make his first Red Devils appearance of the season after the defender was granted an extended break following the Copa America earlier this summer.
Rojo is facing a battle to secure a place in Louis van Gaal’s starting line-up, though, after the United manager stuck with Daley Blind and Chris Smalling in their opening four games of the season.
But the 25-year-old is certainly enthusiastic as the South American defender took to Twitter to post a preview for bitter clash between English football’s two biggest clubs.

Rojo made 25 appearances in all competitions during his debut Premier League campaign, and it hoping to rack up many more should he be given a prolonged run at the heart of United’s defence.
Before making the £16m switch to the North West, Rojo shone for Sporting Lisbon and Spartak Moscow, and has amassed 37 Argentina caps to date.
