Juan Mata won’t be forgetting Manchester United’s 3-1 win against Liverpool in a hurry.

The Red Devils eased to a 3-1 victory over their bitter rivals after goals from Daley Blind, Ander Herrera and Anthony Martial at Old Trafford on Saturday evening.

Spain international Mata was replaced in the second half by manager Louis van Gaal as the Spain international struggled to get a stranglehold on the game from the right wing.

However, the 26-year-old’s substitution didn’t damper his spirits after Mata took to Instagram to post a photo of the United players celebrating after Blind’s goal.

Mata wrote on the photo-sharing app: “Nice feeling… @manchesterunited”

The World Cup winner has been ever-present in Louis van Gaal’s side at the start of the season.
