James Wilson is delighted to put pen to paper on a new Manchester United contract
James Wilson couldn’t disguise his delight on Instagram after the striker signed a new Manchester United contract on Friday.
The 19-year-old has put pen to paper on a new four-year deal with the 20-time English champions which will see the teenager remain at Old Trafford until at least 2019.
Wilson made his debut for the Red Devils against Hull City under interim manager Ryan Giggs in May 2014, whilst the striker has since racked up a further 17 appearances in all competitions.
And the United teenager took to Instagram to express his delight at securing his long-term future at Old Trafford.
Wilson wrote on the photo-sharing app: “I am delighted to have signed a new contract and look forward to playing a part in the team for many years to come. Thank you for your support!”
The United striker scored for the club’s Under-21 side in a 3-1 victory over Everton earlier this week.
Wilson is still waiting to make his first appearance of the new season for the senior side.
The Red Devils starlet has scored two goals in 18 appearances in all competitions.
