Mesut Ozil joined Liverpool youngster Emre Can and Manchester United midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger for a dressing room snap after Germany’s 3-1 win against Poland on Thursday night.

The World Cup holders edged closer to qualification for Euro 2016 after Thomas Muller’s opener and Mario Gotze’s brace sealed a comfortable win against their neighbours.

Ozil, Can and Schweinsteiger all started for the world champions in their Euro 2016 qualifier as the Premier League trio cast their club rivalries aside for the night.

And Arsenal’s club-record signing posted a dressing room snap with his Germany team-mates after their latest victory.

Ozil wrote on his Instagram page: “Victory and top of the table – that was our goal and we reached it! 👌💪👍⚽ #BeTheDifference #GERPOL #diemannschaft #europeanqualifiers”

Ozil will be hoping to feature when Arsenal return to Premier League action against Stoke City at Emirates Stadium after the international break.
