Mesut Ozil uses Instagram to reveal his delight as Germany seal a 3-2 win over Scotland

Mesut Ozil took to social media on Monday night to reveal his delight at Germany’s 3-2 win over Scotland as the world champions took another step closer towards qualification for Euro 2016.

Ozil played the full 90 minutes as goals from Thomas Muller and Ilkay Gundogan handed Germany a victory which keeps them top of Group D.

The Arsenal playmaker posted the picture above of him celebrating Muller’s goal on his personal Instagram account on Monday night and wrote: “2 matches, 6 points 😉 Quite a successful international break 👍✅✅ #europeanqualifiers #scoger #diemannschaft @dfb_team”

Ozil will now turn his attentions back to club affairs as he heads back to Arsenal ahead of the return of the Premier League this weekend.

The Germany international will be expecting to feature when Arsene Wenger’s men take on Stoke City at Emirates Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Arsenal head into Saturday’s game in sixth place in the Premier League table after having taken seven points from their opening four top-flight games this season.
