Pedro wants Chelsea to build a winning run after beating Arsenal

Pedro Rodriguez urged Chelsea to build a winning run after a 2-0 victory over nine-man Arsenal at Stamford Bridge.

Blues defender Kurt Zouma headed in the opener in the 53rd minute before Eden Hazard added a second after his shot deflected in off Calum Chambers in stoppage time.

Arsenal centre-half Gabriel Paulista was sent off in the first half for flicking his heel at Diego Costa, who was lucky to avoid a red card himself for a swipe at Laurent Koscielny.

Arsenal captain Cazorla was then shown a second yellow in the 78th minute, and Chelsea signing Pedro took to Twitter to reflect on their derby win.

Pedro moved to Chelsea from Barcelona in a £21m deal in the summer transfer window.

The World Cup winner scored a debut goal in a 3-2 victory over West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns last month.
