Bastian Schweinsteiger is looking forward to Manchester United's clash with Sunderland on Saturday

Bastian Schweinsteiger has taken to social media to urge Manchester United to victory a they prepare to take on Sunderland at Old Trafford in the Premier League.

Louis van Gaal’s men host the Black Cats looking to continue their recent fine form in the English top flight.

The Red Devils head into the game in second place in the Premier League table and just two points behind leaders and bitter local rivals Manchester City after their dramatic 3-2 win over Southampton last weekend.

And Schweinsteiger is clearly looking forward to lining up for the Red Devils at their home ground on Saturday afternoon.

The World Cup winner posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote: “Back to Premier League tomorrow! #mufc”

United boss Van Gaal revealed on Friday that defensive duo Paddy McNair and Marcos Rojo would both miss Saturday’s clash with minor injury problems.

The Red Devils boss also confirmed that Luke Shaw had returned home after the surgery on his broken leg.
