Tottenham Hotspur signing Heung-Min Son will wear the No7 shirt, the north London club have confirmed

Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed summer signing Heung-Min Son will wear the number seven shirt.

The South Korea international has been granted a work permit and has received international clearance which makes the forward available for selection.

The 23-year-old signed a five-year deal with Spurs after he completed a reported £22m move to the north London side from Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen last week.

And Tottenham took to their Twitter account on Wednesday morning to confirm that Son is available ahead of their trip to Sunderland on Sunday evening.

The Spurs account went on to add that Son will follow in the footsteps of Aaron Lennon, Darren Anderton and Nicky Barmby in the No7 shirt.

The South Korean forward scored 17 goals in 42 games in all competitions for Leverkusen last season.
