Tottenham Hotspur star Erik Lamela poses with Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero and his Argentina team-mates
Erik Lamela was clearly impressed with the AT&T Stadium in Dallas as Argentina played out a 2-2 draw with Mexico on Tuesday night.
Barcelona forward Lionel Messi scored an 89th-minute equaliser to deny Mexico victory in their friendly in Dallas.
Javier Hernandez and Hector Herrera had handed Mexico a 2-0 lead before Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero halved the deficit with five minutes remaining.
Lamela was an unused substitute in the stalemate but that didn’t dampen the Tottenham midfielder’s spirits.
And the north London side’s record signing posted a photo with his Argentina team-mates on the pitch on his Instagram page.
Lamela wrote: “Yesterday before the game at the at&t stadium 👍 #argentina #seleccion #dallas”
Spurs midfielder has scored just six times in 59 games in all competitions for the north Londoners in his career at the north London club so far.
The Lilywhites are still searching for their first Premier League win of the season after a 0-0 draw with Everton at White Hart Lane in their most recent game.
