Toby Alderweireld is looking forward to Tottenham's clash with Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon

Toby Alderweireld has taken to social media to reveal his excitement ahead of Tottenham Hotspur’s Premier League clash with Crystal Palace at White Hart Lane.

The north London side host the Eagles looking to record their second top-flight win of the season after their 1-0 triumph over Sunderland last weekend.

Spurs head into the game down in 16th place in the Premier League table but know that a victory would hoist them up the table and leave them just a point behind their local rivals Arsenal.

And Alderweireld is clearly looking forward to the game, as he posted the picture above of himself and Erik Lamela in action for Spurs on his personal Instagram account and wrote: “Matchday #COYS”

Palace have beaten Tottenham three times in the Premier League, with their only win at White Hart Lane coming back in 1997, when Neil Shipperley scored the only goal.

The north London side have scored just four goals in their five league games so far this season.
