This is Arsenal’s 18th successive group-stage campaign. Last season they reached the round of 16 for the 15th time in a row but again departed at that stage – as in the previous four campaigns.
Dinamo were beaten 5-1 on aggregate by Arsenal in the 2006-07 third qualifying round, losing 3-0 at home and 2-1 away.
