Piers Morgan demands Arsenal make Theo Walcott their main striker
The celebrity Arsenal fan wants Arsene Wenger to drop Olivier Giroud
Piers Morgan has urged Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger to make Theo Walcott their first-choice striker.
The England international started in a centre-forward role at King Power Stadium on Saturday, and Walcott repaid his manager’s faith with a first-half equaliser in their 5-2 victory over Leicester City.
Olivier Giroud came off the bench to score the north London side’s fifth goal against the Foxes after seemingly falling out-of-favour under Wenger in recent weeks.
And celebrity Arsenal fan Morgan urged the Gunners manager to stick with in-form Walcott up front ahead of their clash against Olympiakos in the Champions League group stage on Tuesday night.
Alexis Sanchez was brilliant yesterday but Walcott played superbly too. He should be our main striker, not Giroud. #afc

Walcott has scored two goals in six Premier League appearances this season.
However, Giroud has netted four goals in six games, although the France international has only started three top-flight fixtures.
Arsenal lost 2-1 to Dinamo Kiev in their opening Champions League group-stage game earlier this month.
